LIGHTING SUPERVISOR -- RHYTHM & HUES STUDIOS

Near the end of the film our hero Malcolm Reynolds fights a government operative who is out to kill him.  This sequence takes place on some rafters and platforms above giant power generators.  Only the actors, the platforms and the ceiling structure were live action and we had to construct the rest of the set including the generators all in 3D.  This work involved the design, modeling, texturing, lighting, animation and fx for these large scale set pieces.  We also had some minor props like a CG crate and a CG retractable bridge which were needed for this sequence.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

3. •Implemented pipeline for new camera projection technique which automatically blended projections from several cameras into a single render
